Grenz Gobbo by Inguru

Format: Commander

Commander: Grenzo, Dungeon Warden

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Rakdos combo/reanimator deck helmed by Grenzo, Dungeon Warden, built to exploit his ability to put creatures from the bottom of the library directly onto the battlefield. The primary game plan involves using scry, bottom-deck manipulation, and cheap activated ability costs to chain creature flips, assembling either infinite goblin tokens (via Krenko, Mob Boss + Goblin Recruiter) or infinite damage (Murderous Redcap + Metallic Mimic + sacrifice outlet). The deck also runs a robust reanimation package (Chainer, Nightmare Adept, Animate Dead, Victimize) that doubles as a backup plan and can grind out value from the graveyard. While the commander is essential as a repeatable cheat-into-play engine, the deck maintains moderate functionality through its goblin tribal lords and reanimation spells even when Grenzo is answered.
