Commander: Maralen, Fae Ascendant

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Maralen, Fae Ascendant is the engine of a Sultai Faerie/Elf tribal deck that turns creature count into card advantage and free spells. The primary plan is to flood the board with cheap Faeries, trigger Maralen's exile ability, and cast spells from opponents' libraries for free. Secondary paths are a wide combat kill with Scion of Oona, Banner of Kinship, or Shadow Puppeteers, and an Aluren + Cloudstone Curio + Obyra loop that drains the table. Oona, Queen of the Fae acts as a hidden commander and mana-sink finisher. The commander's role is value generation and mana cheating; the deck can still function without her through draw engines and the combo, but at reduced speed.
