Deck overview

This deck is an Esper Top-Deck Control strategy commanded by Yennett, Cryptic Sovereign. The primary game plan focuses on deploying Yennett on Turn 4, setting up the top of the library with odd-mana-value powerhouses, and attacking on Turn 5 to cast them for free. Game-ending odd payoffs include asymmetric stax like Void Winnower and Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite, massive reanimation like Breach the Multiverse and Rise of the Dark Realms, and extra turns via Expropriate. Top-deck manipulation cards such as Sensei's Divining Top, Aminatou, the Fateshifter, Jace, the Mind Sculptor, and Doom Whisperer ensure Yennett consistently connects with maximum-value spells. The deck maintains stability through efficient white and black spot removal, passive card advantage engines like Rhystic Study and Esper Sentinel, and an alternate win condition in Laboratory Maniac paired with Doomsday or Demonic Consultation.
