Deck overview

This deck utilizes Ashaya's Enduring Bond at the helm of an aggressive Gruul cascade and exile-matters midrange shell. Because the commander is a legendary sorcery requiring a legendary permanent to cast, the deck runs a dense package of low-cost legendary creatures including Radha, Heir to Keld, Ruby, Daring Tracker, and Bugenhagen, Wise Elder. Casting the commander scales with commander tax, discovering deeper into the library on subsequent casts and triggering exile synergies such as Faldorn, Dread Wolf Herald, Nico Minoru, Runaway, and Flaming Tyrannosaurus. The deck leverages explosive mana accelerators like Fanatic of Rhonas, Selvala, Heart of the Wilds, and Klauth, Unrivaled Ancient to deploy monolithic finishers including Apex Devastator and Ghalta, Primal Hunger. While the deck generates massive board presence and shrugs off counterspells via Hexing Squelcher and Rhythm of the Wild, it possesses minimal instant-speed interaction and remains vulnerable to well-timed board wipes.
