Deck overview

This deck is a Jeskai Spellslinger Voltron build led by Shu Yun, the Silent Tempest. The strategy centers on deploying Shu Yun early and chaining low-mana cantrips and combat buffs to trigger prowess and grant double strike. By pairing cheap pump spells like Titan's Strength with double strike, Shu Yun quickly threatens lethal commander damage against individual opponents. Card advantage auras such as Curiosity and Staggering Insight keep resources flowing by drawing cards on both first strike and regular combat damage steps. The deck backs up its aggressive clock with a strong suite of cheap counterspells, bounce effects, and protection spells like Slip Out the Back and Surge of Salvation. As a compact alternate win condition, the list includes the two-card infinite combo of Ral, Storm Conduit and Expansion // Explosion, allowing direct damage kills when combat is restricted.
