Deck overview

This deck is a classic Jund Lands midrange strategy commanded by Lord Windgrace. It focuses on accelerating mana in the early game with cheap green ramp, mana dorks, and exploration effects before casting its planeswalker commander on turn 4. Once assembled, Lord Windgrace fuels continuous card draw by cycling lands into the graveyard and returning them to play. The deck converts this massive mana surplus into game-ending board states through landfall powerhouses such as Field of the Dead, Avenger of Zendikar, Scute Swarm, and Omnath, Locus of Rage. A resolved Scapeshift or Splendid Reclamation triggers a flood of creature tokens and direct damage from Valakut Exploration or Retreat to Hagra. The deck features high redundancy in the 99 with independent engines like The Gitrog Monster and Korvold, Fae-Cursed King, backed by robust targeted removal and resilient land-based recovery.
