Deck overview

This deck is a focused Orzhov Aristocrats combo shell piloted by Teysa, Orzhov Scion. The primary objective is to assemble a continuous death-trigger engine utilizing Teysa's triggered ability alongside Darkest Hour, which turns all creatures black. Under this enchantment, any dying black creature causes Teysa to create a 1/1 Spirit token that is also black. Sacrificing this token to a free sacrifice outlet like Viscera Seer, Carrion Feeder, or Phyrexian Altar generates an infinite loop of death triggers that drains the table via cards like Blood Artist or Zulaport Cutthroat. The deck features high tutor consistency, low-curve velocity via cards like Dark Ritual and Skullclamp, and an independent secondary combo route using Leonin Relic-Warder and Animate Dead. While the strategy is compact and finishes instantly, it relies primarily on speed and recursion rather than countermagic, leaving windows open to well-timed creature removal.
