Deck overview

Maralen, Fae Ascendant is a hybrid Elf/Faerie tribal deck that turns creature count into card advantage and free spells. The primary plan is to land Maralen early, build a wide board of Elves and Faeries, then use Maralen's enter triggers to exile opponents' cards and cast cheap spells for free. Oko, Lorwyn Liege // Oko, Shadowmoor Scion is a second engine that can create Elk tokens and eventually give Elves +3/+3, hexproof, and vigilance via its -6 emblem. Secondary paths involve tutoring for key pieces with Final Parting and Waterlogged Teachings, while disruption spells keep opponents off balance.
