Deck overview

This deck is an Azorius blink and token-duplication deck piloted by Niko, Light of Hope. The central strategy revolves around generating Shard tokens and using Niko's activated ability to turn those Shards into temporary copies of high-impact nonlegendary creatures. Because Shards sit on the battlefield as enchantments, they remain immune to sorcery-speed creature wipes until transformed into immediate attackers such as Battle Angels of Tyr or Phyrexian Dreadnought. In addition to overwhelming combat steps amplified by token doublers like Mondrak, Glory Dominus and Anointed Procession, the deck packs a dense card-draw engine with blinkable creatures like Cloudblazer and Mulldrifter. When combat is stalled, artifact tutors Trophy Mage and Tribute Mage locate sacrifice outlets to enable an infinite recursion loop between Reveillark and Karmic Guide to finish the table cleanly.
