Deck overview

Ral, Monsoon Mage // Ral, Leyline Prodigy is the core of a UR storm deck built around the front face's cost reduction. With Ral on the front, Twinflame loops with Birgi and Pinnacle Monk to generate arbitrarily large storm counts. The back face offers removal, draw, and a backup ultimate, but the deck is specifically tuned to keep Ral untransformed. Birgi effectively functions as a hidden commander, refunding red mana on each spell. Tutors, fast mana, wheels, and free countermagic assemble and protect the combo, while Underworld Breach, Past in Flames, and Mizzix's Mastery provide recursive fallback. The usual finish is a massive Grapeshot or Brain Freeze.
