Format: Commander

Commander: Kosei, Penitent Warlord

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This mono-green Voltron deck centers on Kosei, Penitent Warlord, an aggressive commander that rewards meeting a strict three-part condition: being simultaneously enchanted, equipped, and modified with a counter. Once fully enabled, Kosei deals massive combat damage to one player while duplicating that damage across all other opponents and drawing an equal number of cards. The game plan accelerates mana into Kosei, rapidly attaches the necessary permanent types, and provides evasion, counter-doubling, or stat boosters to close out the table in one or two decisive swings.
