Deck overview

This deck is a high-powered mono-red Dragon tribal archetype commanded by Lathliss, Dragon Queen. It leverages dense mana acceleration and Dragon cost-reducers to deploy massive flying threats ahead of curve. Once Lathliss enters the battlefield, every subsequent Dragon doubles as a token generator, quickly building an overwhelming aerial army. Direct burn enablers such as Terror of the Peaks, Scourge of Valkas, and Dragon Tempest convert creature deployments into immediate board control and player damage. The deck finishes games through explosive aerial combats amplified by Terror of Mount Velus and Utvara Hellkite. High-impact utility cards like Blood Moon hinder opposing mana bases, while efficient redirection spells like Deflecting Swat protect critical setup turns. It recovers smoothly from removal thanks to recursive tools like Feldon of the Third Path and alternate engines like Sneak Attack.
