Deck overview

This deck is a Simic tokens and counters strategy commanded by The Astonishing Ant-Man. It converts card draws into +1/+1 counters on Ant-Man, which are then cashed in at instant speed to create a massive swarm of 1/1 green Insect tokens. The deck powers this engine with dense draw effects such as Curiosity Crafter, Kindred Discovery, and Skullclamp, rapidly refilling the hand while growing Ant-Man into a self-contained army builder. Counter amplifiers like Hardened Scales, Innkeeper's Talent, and Ozolith, the Shattered Spire accelerate counter generation, while The Ozolith prevents resource loss if Ant-Man leaves the battlefield. The endgame deploys decisive combat overruns with Coat of Arms, Banner of Kinship, or graveyard evasion from Wonder to swing for lethal damage across the table. Efficient spot interaction and backup token producers like Chasm Skulker ensure consistent pressure, making the deck resilient, highly synergistic, and explosive in mid-game combat.
