Deck overview

The Ghoul, Gunslinger leads a mono-black Zombie tribal deck that blends aristocrats sacrifice strategies with reanimation and swarm combat. The deck leverages cheap Zombie creatures, sacrifice outlets, and death triggers to generate rad counters and Treasure tokens, converting self-milled cards into an extended hand. Card draw engines like Undead Augur and Midnight Reaper keep resources flowing, while ramp pieces like Cabal Coffers and Jet Medallion accelerate big plays. The primary win condition relies on mass life drain via Gray Merchant of Asphodel and Vengeful Dead, reinforced by mass reanimation spells such as Bloodline Bidding and wide combat swings enhanced by tribal lords. Highly resilient against board wipes thanks to cheap recursion spells, the deck recovers rapidly from removal but remains vulnerable to targeted graveyard exile and noncreature combo strategies.
