Deck overview

This is a themed Doctor Doom, King of Latveria Villain deck. Its normal game is to develop lands and rocks, cast Doctor Doom, King of Latveria, and use connive, discard-access cards, and Black Market Connections to build cards, Treasures, and Villain bodies. Baron Strucker, HYDRA Overlord, Tombstone, Career Criminal, and Madame Hydra reduce costs or add tokens, while Prowler, Clawed Thief, Iron Monger, Sadistic Tycoon, and Ultron, Unlimited turn repeated Villain entries and connives into board growth. The strongest pressure comes from Mysterio, Master of Illusion, Loki, the Deceiver, Living Laser, or The Squadron Sinister. The deck has broad but mostly fair removal and only light protection. Its main limitations are inconsistent access to its expensive payoffs, many tapped lands, vulnerability to sweepers, and no compact win condition. It is best suited to a slower casual or themed table rather than a competitive environment.
