Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Izzet spellslinger storm deck commanded by Vivi Ornitier. The primary game plan revolves around pairing Vivi with damage-triggered draw effects such as Curiosity, Ophidian Eye, and Tandem Lookout. Because Vivi deals 1 damage to each opponent whenever you cast a noncreature spell, each cast draws three cards. This massive card flow fuels a flurry of low-cost rituals, free counterspells, and cantrips. As Vivi accumulates +1/+1 counters, its {0} activated ability generates large amounts of mana to sustain the turn until opponents take lethal damage from Vivi's triggers. If the commander is removed or heavily taxed, the deck pivots smoothly to an alternate infinite combo using Dualcaster Mage and Twinflame to create infinite hasty attackers. An elite suite of free protection spells defends the combo turn against opposing interaction.
