Deck overview

This Dimir Commander deck is an Aristocrats Combo strategy led by Wilhelt, the Rotcleaver. The game plan revolves around generating Zombie creature tokens, sacrificing them for resource advantage, and assembling deterministic infinite loops. Wilhelt provides built-in card draw and creates 2/2 decayed Zombie tokens whenever nontoken Zombies die, effectively doubling sacrifice triggers. The deck leverages efficient tutors (Demonic Tutor, Vampiric Tutor, Entomb) to find combo centerpieces, notably the two-card infinite combo of Rooftop Storm and Acererak the Archlich, which drains all opponents through the dungeon mechanic. Secondary win lines use Gravecrawler paired with Phyrexian Altar and drain enablers like Diregraf Captain, Plague Belcher, or The Meathook Massacre. Supported by efficient interaction, board-wiping removal, and graveyard reanimation, the deck reliably establishes engine velocity on Turn 5 and closes the game immediately.
