Commander: The First Sliver

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This deck is a classic Sliver tribal strategy helmed by The First Sliver, whose cascade ability turns every Sliver spell into a chain of explosive value. The primary game plan is to ramp into the commander, then cascade into a stream of cheap slivers that quickly build a synergistic board of lords, mana dorks, and utility creatures. The deck wins through overwhelming combat damage, leveraging evasion (flying, double strike, menace), pump effects (Sliver Legion, Megantic Sliver), and alternative damage (poison from Virulent Sliver, afflict from Lazotep Sliver). A secondary win condition is Coalition Victory if the board state meets its requirements. The deck is linear but efficient, relying on the commander's cascade to generate card advantage and tempo.
