New Untitled Deck by Valkarion

Format: Commander

Commander: Carmen, Cruel Skymarcher

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Orzhov sacrifice-and-token deck is helmed by Carmen, Cruel Skymarcher, a flying commander that grows with each sacrifice and reanimates a permanent each combat. The primary game plan leverages token generators (Bitterblossom, Adeline, Resplendant Cathar, Thalisse, Reverent Medium) and constant sacrifice triggers to pump Carmen's power, drain opponents via cards like Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, and Bastion of Rememberance, and eventually reanimate key value pieces each turn. The deck lacks infinite combos but grinds out victory through repeated token sacrifice, incremental life loss, and the occasional massive Debt to the Deathless or Inkshield token swarm. The commander acts as a repeatable recursion engine, but the deck can also function without her thanks to multiple other recursion tools and token makers.
