Aesi by ImLeVa

Format: Commander

Commander: Aesi, Tyrant of Gyre Strait

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Aesi, Tyrant of Gyre Strait pilots a Simic landfall value deck: extra land drops turbocharge big creatures and draw spells, while a board of landfall tokens and sea monsters closes the game. The deck ramps heavily in the first turns, plays Aesi on turn four, then converts each land into cards and creatures. Its main win is a one-shot Craterhoof Behemoth swing, with repeated unblockable Kraken/Leviathan attacks as the backup. The deck is resilient to removal through recursion, but it leans heavily on its commander and has only a single efficient finisher.
