Deck overview

This mono-blue deck leverages Neerdiv, Devious Diver to convert self-mill, flashback, and graveyard activations into card advantage, steady creature growth, and incidental library attrition. The strategy deploys Neerdiv on Turn 3, then uses cheap flashback spells like Otherworldly Gaze and Think Twice to continuously trigger +1/+1 counters and card draw. Over multiple turns, Neerdiv scales into a formidable threat, leveraging evasion from Commander's Plate, Kaito, Cunning Infiltrator, and Rogue's Passage to push lethal commander damage against opponents one by one. A rich suite of cheap counterspells defends the commander from removal, while clone effects like Sakashima of a Thousand Faces and alternate beaters like Kiora, the Rising Tide provide redundant pressure. Because the deck finishes via single-target combat and gradual mill rather than fast combo lines, it plays a tempo-control game aimed at grinding out long-term card and board advantage.
