Deck overview

This deck is a Temur Dragon tribal stompy strategy piloted by Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm. Its primary game plan is to accelerate mana during the first three turns using mana dorks, rocks, and land-search sorceries, then deploy Miirym on Turn 4 or 5. Once the commander is established, every subsequent nontoken Dragon enters with a nonlegendary copy. This doubles immediate enter-the-battlefield triggers from cards like Terror of the Peaks and Scourge of Valkas, and doubles combat output through powerhouses like Atarka, World Render. The deck leverages draw engines such as Temur Ascendancy and Garruk's Uprising to replenish cards as large creatures enter. Built-in ward protection and cheap reactive spells like Slip Out the Back and Snakeskin Veil defend the commander against targeted interaction, while cards like Cyclonic Rift and Blasphemous Act clear opposing boards to ensure lethal combat connections.
