Deck overview

This deck is an Orzhov reanimator and aristocrats build that leverages enter-the-battlefield triggers, sacrifice synergies, and graveyard recursion. Commanded by Athreos, Shroud-Veiled, the deck places coin counters on key creatures to ensure continuous recursion and steal opposing threats upon death or exile. Early turns focus on establishing mana rocks and deploying cheap cantrip creatures like Wall of Omens and Spirited Companion. In the midgame, sacrifice outlets such as Carrion Feeder, Woe Strider, and Yawgmoth, Thran Physician combine with recursion engines like Sun Titan and Lurrus of the Dream-Den to generate card advantage and control opposing boards with Plaguecrafter and Skyclave Apparition. The deck closes games around Turn 6 by executing an infinite loop with Reveillark, Karmic Guide, a sacrifice outlet, and Gray Merchant of Asphodel, draining all opponents simultaneously.
