Deck overview

This is a value-oriented Marchesa, the Black Rose sacrifice deck. Its main plan is to attack with creatures to place +1/+1 counters through dethrone, sacrifice those creatures, and return them at the next end step. Viscera Seer, Ashnod's Altar, and Goblin Bombardment provide sacrifice outlets, while Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, Impact Tremors, and Garna, Bloodfist of Keld convert creature movement into pressure or cards. Reanimation cards such as Animate Dead, Aberrant Return, and Necromantic Selection add recovery and occasional high-value swings. The deck has reasonable colored mana, several two-mana rocks, and useful interaction, but its primary four-piece engine is difficult to assemble consistently. The engine also advances too slowly to establish a dependable lethal clock. Persist and death-trigger combinations can produce stronger exceptional turns, but they need multiple specific cards and do not qualify as an ordinary infinite plan.
