Monored Dragons by valar96

Format: Commander

Commander: Sarkhan, Dragon Ascendant

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

An aggressive mono-red Dragon deck that ramps with Treasures and cost reducers, then wins through combat damage and Dragon-ETB triggers. Sarkhan, Dragon Ascendant is a support commander, not the engine: it creates a Treasure by 'beholding' a Dragon, gains counters whenever a Dragon enters, and becomes a flying Dragon itself for anthem effects. The primary path is to land multiple mid-large Dragons ahead of curve and close with extra combats from Hellkite Charger, Scourge of the Throne, or Desert Were-Worm, amplified by Terror of Mount Velus, Twinflame Tyrant, or Isengard Unleashed. Dragon Tempest and Scourge of Valkas provide a secondary burn route. No hidden commander exists; the deck is built around Dragon mass, and the commander is a flexible extra Dragon rather than a combo piece.
