Deck overview

This Sultai deck is an aggressive Voltron and saboteur strategy piloted by Kotis, the Fangkeeper. The primary objective is to cast Kotis ahead of curve using dense 1-2 CMC ramp, equip him with power-boosting and evasive modifiers, and repeatedly connect with opponents in combat. Because Kotis possesses native indestructible, he naturally survives standard board sweepers such as Bontu's Last Reckoning and Game Over, breaking symmetry as opponents lose their creatures. Connecting with Kotis exiles the top cards of an opponent's library and allows casting spells from among them for free, creating substantial tempo and card advantage. The deck features redundant hexproof equipment, auras, and mutate creatures like Brokkos, Apex of Forever to scale Kotis into a lethal two-turn or one-turn commander damage threat, closing games around Turn 8 while protecting its lead with targeted countermagic and hexproof combat tricks.
