Deck overview

Dark Leo & Shredder rewards unblocked combat damage by creating Ninjas and, once five Ninjas are present, halving the life of the player hit. The deck supports this with evasive creatures, sneak costs, Equipment, and attack-triggered token production from Endless Foot Assault. Its strongest normal line is to develop an evasive attacker, sneak in the commander, build toward five Ninjas, and then use Equipment or Cover of Darkness to force a connection. The plan is thematic but not compact: the commander does not naturally evade blockers, the five-Ninja condition takes several turns, and halving life is not lethal. Tutors mainly find Equipment, while the universal tutor is expensive and conditional. The deck has useful creature removal and some protection, but limited interaction against noncreature combo and few ways to recover quickly after a board wipe. It is best viewed as a combat-value deck rather than a reliable combo or lock deck.
