Reverse Landfall by Wodnik

Format: Commander

Commander: Aesi, Tyrant of Gyre Strait

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a classic Simic "lands matter" value deck helmed by Aesi, Tyrant of Gyre Strait. The primary game plan is to abuse extra land drops-via Aesi, Azusa, Lost but Seeking, Exploration, Burgeoning, Summer Bloom, and others-to chain landfall triggers into massive card advantage and mana. The deck leans heavily on repeatable land-bounce synergies with the Moonfolk tribe (Meloku the Clouded Mirror, Patron of the Moon, and various Soratami) to replay lands for extra value. The endgame is not a compact combo but rather overwhelming resource inevitability: Omniscience to cast spells for free, Eternal Dominion to steal permanents each turn, Endless Swarm to create an enormous token army, or Sasaya, Orochi Ascendant to transform lands into explosive mana. The deck has no fast infinite combos and wins through sheer tempo and card advantage, making it a classic "big Simic" engine.
