Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity mono-red spellslinger and combat combo deck centered on Rionya, Fire Dancer. The primary strategy utilizes cheap cantrips, rituals, and artifact ramp to accelerate Rionya onto the battlefield alongside impactful creature payoffs. At the beginning of combat, Rionya creates hasty token copies of a target creature scaled by the number of instant and sorcery spells cast that turn. Its premier win condition pairs Rionya with Combat Celebrant, creating an infinite combat phase loop that eliminates all opponents in a single turn. Backup lines leverage exponential power doublers like Devilish Valet, direct burn from Fanatic of Mogis and Terror of the Peaks, or manual extra combats through Aggravated Assault and Port Razer. While the deck possesses explosive same-turn lethality and resilient backup plans, it relies heavily on natural draws due to a lack of creature tutors and remains vulnerable to well-timed instant-speed creature removal targeting its commander.
