Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a five-color Saga deck helmed by Tom Bombadil, built to chain Sagas directly from the library. The core loop is simple: resolve a Saga's final chapter, and Tom reveals until he finds another Saga and puts it straight onto the battlefield, creating a self-sustaining value engine. The deck wins through the enormous tokens and effects its Sagas generate - The Coming of Galactus's 16/16, There and Back Again's Smaug, Battle at the Helvault's Avacyn, Summon: Bahamut's 9/9, and Summon: Primal Odin's "combat damage = lose the game" trigger. Support pieces like Sigurd, Jarl of Ravensthorpe, Atraxa, Praetors' Voice, Rydia, Summoner of Mist, and Yuna, Hope of Spira accelerate, recur, and protect the Saga engine. It is a midrange value deck that grinds to a big-token combat finish rather than a fast combo deck.
