Deck overview

This Rakdos Outlaw Theft Midrange deck harnesses Laughing Jasper Flint to turn combat aggression into massive card advantage by stealing and casting opponents' spells. The deck curves out with low-cost Outlaw creatures (Assassins, Mercenaries, Pirates, Rogues, and Warlocks) to rapidly scale Jasper Flint's upkeep trigger. Mana fixing is streamlined because Jasper Flint allows mana of any type to cast stolen spells, while Treasure engines like Grim Hireling, Prosper, Tome-Bound, and Pitiless Plunderer fund multi-spell turns. Mid-game payoffs such as Gisa, the Hellraiser and Rakdos, the Muscle generate board presence and trigger off crimes committed against opponents. The deck wins by grinding down opposing resources, leveraging opponents' best cards against them, and closing through combat damage amplified by Great Train Heist and life-loss effects like Brainstealer Dragon.
