Deck overview

Blech, Loafing Pest is a Golgari token-lifegain deck that uses its commander as a scalable anthem for Pest, Snake, Insect, and Spider tokens. The primary plan is to make many tokens, convert incidental life gain into draw, drain, and +1/+1 counters, then win through a Dina/Marauding/Sanguine plus Exquisite Blood drain loop or an overrun with Triumph of the Hordes. Secondary paths use Beledros Witherbloom, Cauldron of Essence, and sacrifice engines to generate card advantage and recursion while Blech grows the board. Although Blech is the face commander, Dina, Soul Steeper is effectively the hidden commander and the combo lynchpin. The commander is a force multiplier, not a combo piece; the deck remains functional without him, but he turns every small life gain into a clock.
