Deck overview

This Mardu deck, helmed by Fire Lord Zuko, is a focused exile-cast value strategy that converts casting from exile into a board-wide +1/+1 anthem while Zuko's firebending attack trigger generates red mana to fuel extra combat steps. The primary plan is to deploy an early exile engine (Prosper, Tome-Bound, Laelia, the Blade Reforged, Ryan Sinclair), cast Zuko, and chain Aurelia, the Warleader and Hellkite Charger extra combats - Zuko's firebending mana pays for each additional combat in the same turn. The team grows with +1/+1 counters from every exile-cast, turning Zuko into a massive mana battery. Secondary wins include Gisela, Blade of Goldnight damage doubling, Terror of the Peaks ETB pings, Crackle with Power and Comet Storm as X-spell finishers, and the Aurelia, the Warleader + Helm of the Host infinite-combat combo. The deck is a midrange value engine that explodes once the chain starts.
