Deck overview

Vishgraz, the Doomhive leads an Abzan Phyrexian poison deck. The primary plan is to put at least one poison counter on every opponent with Ichor Rats, Infectious Inquiry, or Vraska's Fall, then accelerate all three to ten with toxic attackers and proliferate effects such as Evolution Sage, Contaminant Grafter, and Karn's Bastion. The secondary path is the Ashnod's Altar + Nim Deathmantle + Vishgraz loop, which creates infinite Mites and mana and can end immediately with Bolas's Citadel. Vishgraz is both the main toxic attacker and the loop piece; Ixhel, Scion of Atraxa acts as a supporting card-advantage engine rather than a hidden commander.
