Deck overview

This deck is a high-power Dragon tribal strategy led by The Ur-Dragon, designed to accelerate into massive flying threats ahead of curve. The deck leverages efficient 1-to-2 mana ramp and the commander's eminence ability to deploy mid-game engines like Temur Ascendancy, Dragon Tempest, and Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm. Once established, it transitions rapidly into overwhelming aerial combat and direct burn via Terror of the Peaks, Scourge of Valkas, and Tiamat. Mana engines like Klauth, Unrivaled Ancient and Old Gnawbone generate immense bursts of mana upon attacking, enabling explosive turns that empty full hands of dragons onto the battlefield. Supported by targeted countermagic, uncounterable effects, and protection pieces like Teferi's Protection and Dragonlord Dromoka, the deck reliably presents a game-ending threat on Turn 5 and closes the table on Turn 6.
