Deck overview

The deck uses Choco, Seeker of Paradise as a Bird-tribal land engine. Each attack with Birds selects a card and can put revealed lands onto the battlefield tapped, while Choco's landfall ability increases its power for the turn. The deck then converts extra lands into more Birds through Emeria Angel, Chocobo Racetrack, Gysahl Greens, Sidequest: Raise a Chocobo, and other token effects. Anthem and combat payoffs such as Empyrean Eagle, Favorable Winds, Kangee, Sky Warden, Murmuration, and Beastmaster Ascension make the board threatening. Its strengths are creature density, useful land ramp, and several commander-based protection spells. Its main limits are slow assembly, low tutor coverage for specific payoffs, reliance on combat, and weak recovery after a sweeper. It can create a strong board around turn 8, but the list does not reliably convert that board into a three-player kill or a total lockout.
