Deck overview

This deck is an optimized Jeskai Stax and Combo list that blends Human tribal synergies with fast competitive win conditions. Commanded by Éowyn, Shieldmaiden, the deck leverages efficient Human hatebears like Drannith Magistrate, Lavinia, Azorius Renegade, and Thalia, Guardian of Thraben to slow opposing strategies while accelerating through fast mana artifacts. The primary win condition executes a compact infinite combo using Dualcaster Mage and Twinflame, creating an arbitrary number of hasty copies to eliminate all three opponents in a single combat step. An alternate route utilizes Underworld Breach, Lion's Eye Diamond, and Brain Freeze to mill out the table. The list features premier stack interaction including Force of Will, Fierce Guardianship, and Deflecting Swat, alongside turn-silencing protection such as Grand Abolisher, Silence, and Ranger-Captain of Eos. If combo routes are obstructed, Éowyn, Shieldmaiden and Shared Animosity provide a resilient, wide token combat backup plan.
