Bonkin Beards by Eggi

Format: Commander

Commander: Thorin, King of Durin's Folk

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Thorin, King of Durin's Folk leads a Boros Dwarf tribal deck that converts every Dwarf entering into Treasure tokens, then feeds those tokens back into more Dwarves, equipment, and artifact-token pump. The primary plan is a wide, artifact-token-driven combat swing with double strike and trample; the secondary plan is treasure burn from Smaug the Magnificent, Alchemist's Talent, and Fiery Emancipation. Magda, Brazen Outlaw acts as the strongest non-commander engine, tutoring Embercleave or Smaug and generating Treasures whenever Dwarves tap. The commander is a generator and global anthem; without him, the deck can still assemble equipment voltron and token Dwarves, but it loses the ETB-treasure engine that makes the deck explosive. No true hidden commander is present, though Magda functions as a hidden engine.
