Auntie Ool by user7759861

Format: Commander

Commander: Auntie Ool, Cursewretch

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Auntie Ool, Cursewretch pilots a Jund -1/-1 counter attrition deck. The plan is to turn every -1/-1 counter into an advantage: Hapatra and Flourishing Defenses make tokens, the commander draws cards or drains life, and Blowfly Infestation spreads counters into a loop. The hidden commander is Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons, with The Scorpion God as a backup draw engine. Primary wins are the Hapatra + Blowfly token loop, finished by Obelisk Spider drain or an untap attack, and the Tree of Perdition + Soul Immolation burn kill. If the combos stall, the deck grinds via Archfiend of Ifnir, Dusk Urchins, and recursion from Persist, Puppeteer Clique, and Dread Tiller.
