Deck overview

This Sultai deck is a high-velocity Elfball and combo strategy piloted by Maralen, Fae Ascendant and Thranduil, the Elvenking. It accelerates early using low-cost mana dorks before deploying scaling mana multipliers like Elvish Archdruid, Circle of Dreams Druid, and Wirewood Channeler. The deck floods the battlefield with Elf tokens using Elvish Warmaster, Lathril, Blade of the Elves, and Elven Ambush. It converts this mana and board presence into game-ending states on Turn 5 through Allosaurus Shepherd overrun attacks, Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord life-loss sacrifices, or an infinite mana and draw loop with Staff of Domination. Strong creature tutoring via Survival of the Fittest and Fauna Shaman ensures fast access to protection pieces like Selfless Safewright and Allosaurus Shepherd, while Thranduil turns the graveyard into a toolbox by copying all activated abilities of discarded or destroyed Elves.
