Vivi - Aug 26 - B4 by WestND

Format: Commander

Commander: Vivi Ornitier

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Vivi Ornitier is a spellslinger drain-and-ritual engine: every noncreature spell makes her grow and pings each opponent, while her power can later be spent as red or blue mana. The deck pairs her with multiple "noncreature spells matter" creatures and copy effects. A normal game involves establishing Vivi and one or two drain payoffs, then converting a high-power Vivi into a burst of spells, often with Thousand-Year Storm or Galvanic Iteration, to finish by copied burn. The Emperor of Palamecia // The Lord Master of Hell and the two Niv-Mizzets provide alternate endgame lines. Because the deck has no true infinite combo and only one artifact tutor, its wins are mid-game burst turns rather than early combos.
