Deck overview

This is a Sultai Elf-tribal deck helmed by Thranduil, the Elvenking, built around a wide creature swarm, a landfall subtheme, and a graveyard-toolbox commander. Thranduil's first ability lets him copy every activated ability of Elf cards in the graveyard - turning milled Elves like Lathril, Blade of the Elves, Woodland Weavemaster, and Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord into live tools - while his second ability turns every other legendary Elf ETB into a 2-for-1 draw. The primary win is combat damage from a wide board pumped by lords (Dwynen, Gilt-Leaf Daen, Imperious Perfect, Morcant's Loyalist, Pride of the Perfect), with Lathril, Blade of the Elves' tap-ten drain and Jumbo Cactuar as alternate finishers. Maralen, Fae Ascendant provides free spellcasting, and a modest recursion package (Victimize, Twilight Diviner, Tyvar, Jubilant Brawler) supports the graveyard plan.
