Deck overview

This is a classic Mardu Vampire tribal aggro deck helmed by Edgar Markov. The core strategy leverages his Eminence ability to generate a 1/1 Vampire token each time you cast another Vampire, rapidly building a wide board from the command zone without even casting him. The deck then deploys a dense suite of lords (Legion Lieutenant, Stromkirk Captain, Captivating Vampire, Markov Baron), drain effects (Sanctum Seeker, Malakir Bloodwitch, Blood Artist), and pump spells (Shared Animosity, Akroma's Will) to convert the token swarm into lethal combat damage or incremental life loss. Secondary win conditions include Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose converting life gain into damage, Bloodletter of Aclazotz doubling life loss on your turn, and Dictate of Erebos as a repeatable sacrifice engine to clear blockers. The deck is linear but explosive, aiming to overwhelm opponents through sheer numbers and combat tricks.
