Commander: Kudo, King Among Bears

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Kudo, King Among Bears is a GW stax-and-tribal deck that turns every creature into a 2/2 Bear, then uses anthem effects and +1/+1 counters to make those Bears overwhelming. The primary plan is to deploy cheap hatebears and rule-of-law effects to slow opponents, then finish with a wide board and a mass pump spell. The commander's role is a global equalizer that makes small utility creatures relevant and enables Bear synergies. The hidden commander is Ayula, Queen Among Bears, who turns every Bear entering into removal or counter growth. The deck is built to use Kudo's face as a stax piece and tribal enabler, not as a voltron threat.
