Deck overview

This is a mono-white Equipment Voltron deck with a heavy damage-prevention/redirection subtheme, helmed by Anti-Venom, Horrifying Healer. Anti-Venom reanimates a creature on entry and converts all damage dealt to it into +1/+1 counters, which makes it a natural home for damage-redirect pieces like Pariah, Pariah's Shield, With Great Power . . ., and Heroic Sacrifice. The true engine of the deck, however, is the hidden commander Cloud, Midgar Mercenary, who tutors an Equipment on entry and doubles all Equipment triggered abilities - turning effects like Worldslayer, Surestrike Trident, and Mjolnir, Storm Hammer into game-ending or game-warping swings. The deck backs this up with two infinite damage combos: Guilty Conscience + a damage-reflector (Stuffy Doll, Phyrexian Vindicator, or Black Panther, Most Dangerous), and the classic Heliod, Sun-Crowned + Walking Ballista loop. It also runs a pair of alternate finishers in Angel of Destiny (lifegain trigger) and Super State.
