Deck overview

This deck is a Dimir control list led by Tasha, the Witch Queen that combines mill, spell theft, and token beatdown. In the early game, cheap enablers like Ruin Crab, Drowned Secrets, and Court of Cunning fill opposing graveyards with high-value instant and sorcery targets. Tasha enters on turn 5 to exile key spells and draw cards, then uses her -3 loyalty ability on subsequent turns to cast those spells for free while generating an army of 3/3 Demon creature tokens. High-impact threats such as Consuming Aberration, Umbris, Fear Manifest, and Xanathar, Guild Kingpin scale rapidly with exiled cards and filled graveyards to pressure life totals. Efficient interaction including Toxic Deluge, Cyclonic Rift, Deadly Rollick, and Mana Drain controls opposing boards, allowing the deck to grind out a multi-turn victory through resilient combat damage and incremental mill.
