Deck overview

This Bant midrange deck is commanded by Brenard, Ginger Sculptor, focusing on token generation, sacrifice value, and aggressive combat finishes. The strategy leverages nontoken creatures with strong enter-the-battlefield or death triggers, such as Mulldrifter, Hornet Queen, and Selfless Spirit. When these creatures die, Brenard converts them into 3/3 trampling Food Golem token copies, effectively doubling their utility and establishing an imposing board presence. Token multipliers like Anointed Procession, Parallel Lives, and Mondrak, Glory Dominus compound this output exponentially. Card flow is sustained by token-triggered draw engines including Welcoming Vampire and Bennie Bracks, Zoologist. The deck closes out games through wide combat swings empowered by Brenard's built-in anthem and trample grant, or decisive finishers like Akroma's Will and Overwhelming Stampede. Efficient single-target protection spells and recursive sacrifice shields ensure resilience against opposing disruption.
