Deck overview

This deck is a five-color midrange powerhouse that combines token generation with scaling +1/+1 counters. Partner commanders Donatello, the Brains and Leonardo, the Balance form the core engine: Donatello creates additional Mutagen tokens whenever any token enters, which triggers Leonardo to distribute +1/+1 counters across your entire army. Supported by top-tier fast mana like Mox Diamond, Chrome Mox, and Sol Ring, the deck rapidly establishes value engines such as Baylen, the Haymaker, Bennie Bracks, Zoologist, and Caretaker's Talent. A robust suite of free interaction—including Deflecting Swat, Fierce Guardianship, and Deadly Rollick—protects the board while Grand Abolisher and Silence secure critical combat turns. By turn 5, the deck presents overwhelming combat damage backed by Leonardo's five-color buff for menace, trample, and lifelink, closing the game out around turn 7.
