Deck overview

This deck is a Dragon-tribal powerhouse helmed by Ureni of the Unwritten, a 7/7 Spirit Dragon with flying, trample and a devastating ETB/attack trigger that looks at the top eight cards and puts a Dragon directly onto the battlefield. The primary game plan is to deploy Ureni as early as possible, then chain massive dragons into play while leveraging extra-combat and extra-turn effects to end the game in a single explosive wave. The deck's secondary win conditions include infinite combats via Hellkite Charger + Savage Ventmaw, and massive direct-damage bursts from Terror of the Peaks, Scourge of Valkas and token-doubling effects like Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm and Reflections of Littjara. Cost reducers (Dragonspeaker Shaman, Urza's Incubator, Sarkhan, Soul Aflame) and land-ramp (Cultivate, Kodama's Reach) smooth the mana curve, while a dense protection suite (Heroic Intervention, Force of Will, Asceticism) guards the critical turns.
