Deck overview

Aerid Konstrari leads a proactive Gruul artifact midrange strategy that converts artifact token generation into explosive combat steps. The deck establishes early tempo through low-cost land and artifact ramp, deploying its commander to generate Heartwood tokens that accelerate mana development and scale power. Secondary token engines like Academy Manufactor, Tireless Provisioner, and Roxanne, Starfall Savant flood the battlefield with Clues, Foods, Treasures, and Meteorites. This critical mass of artifacts enables massive card advantage through power-based draw spells like Rishkar's Expertise and deep card selection via Fomori Vault. The deck reaches critical onset around Turn 6, closing games through devastating artifact-scaled alpha strikes using Craterclaw Colossus, Depthshaker Titan, or Hellkite Igniter with trample and haste. While vulnerable to comprehensive artifact sweepers and fast opposing combo lines due to a lack of countermagic, its high redundancy, graveyard recursion, and resilient token generation make it a formidable combat threat.
